Returns & Exchange Policy

At Malapi, we’ve made returns simple and transparent. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your items within our specified timeframe, provided they meet the requirements below.

1. How long do I have to return my purchase?

You can return an item for a refund within 14 days from the date of delivery. Unfortunately, if 14 days have passed, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Refund Requirements

A refund will only be processed if the item is in its original condition and meets the following requirements:

  • Unworn, undamaged, and unwashed.

  • In its original packaging with all tags still attached.

  • Purchased directly from the official malapi.co.za website.

3. Return Shipping & Fees

In line with industry standards, the cost of returning an item is for the client's account.

  • Return Fee: A flat fee of R100 applies to all online returns.

  • Deduction: This R100 courier/handling fee will be automatically deducted from your total refund amount.

4. Shipping Methods & Address

To ensure the safety of your return, we do not accept items sent via the South African Post Office or P.O. Boxes.

PLEASE NOTE: We strictly do not accept returns via P.O. Boxes. All returns must be sent via a door-to-door courier service to our physical headquarters.

5. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Underwear and socks.

  • Jewellery.

  • Items bought on Sale or during promotional clearance events.

6. How do I log a return?

  1. Email Us: Contact our support team at shpbymalapi@gmail.com with your order number (e.g., MLP12345).

  2. Inspection: Once we receive the item at 17 High Street, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets our "original condition" criteria.

  3. Processing: Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account once the return is approved.
